In conjunction with Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, a group of us prepare PBJ sandwiches to be distributed to those in most need here in Kamloops. It started out being only a couple dozen but has now grown to more than 80 every week. We meet Thursday mornings.
We also have an ongoing food donation program which is collected by the local Salvation Army.

We engage in a visitation service providing support and inspiration to elderly people in our community. We visit them in their homes.

At the moment we are hosting three Bible Studies at various dates and times. They are:
1) A continuous Sunday morning study at 9am beginning with An Introduction To Advent. This is being led by Erin Lussier, one of our laity speakers who is currently studying with the Institute of Lutheran Theology.
2) The Ladies Bible Study meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (excluding December 17th) at 10:30am in the church’s education wing. Our present study uses Jen Wilkin’s study and video services on '1 PETER a Living Hope in Christ’. There are two aspects of Jen’s teachings that are endearing. First: she encourages us to read through the entire epistle of 1 Peter each week, saturating ourselves in God’s Word. Second: she further encourages to study each portion on our own, listening to God as we search His Word and then she presents her own insights. This program uses audio-visual guides.
3) Journey in Isaiah: Weekly, Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 here at the church in the dining area. Please contact Roger Plested for further information.
Feel free to contact the church office for more details on any of the above if necessary.
Thank you for participating.

REFRESH is an outreach ministry involving small group sessions at a nearby elder care facility.
Each session encourages sharing Jesus among the participants. We intend to involve the participation of residents in as many ways as possible. These opportunities may include reading a prayer or Bible verse, participating in group discussions, choosing a song or simply talking about themselves.
REFRESH is easily adaptable to the cognitive and speech abilities of everyone present. Sometimes the discussions are quite lively and at other times the questions are simplified and the answers are one or two word replies.
What is paramount is that each individual feels welcomed, loved and listened to.

On the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month several of our men folk gather together to share a breakfast meal, scripture readings and hearty fellowship. We meet at 9:00am. First-time attendees are warmly greeted.
